Let’s talk about breaking barriers. The patient is always full of doubts when it comes to his/her health. And this is more natural post any cardiac event or other milder incidences which involve high blood pressure, unhealthy cholesterol levels, diabetes, or queries with regards to medicine either during hospitalisation or post thereof.
In my personal experience of 10 years of Clinical and Hospital practice I have noticed that most of the times the patient is reluctant to ask those questions. I am not sure why, but it might be out of natural shyness or because of fear of annoying the doctor by sounding too persistent. Most of the times they resort to consulting fellow patients or their attendants for assistance with these queries which leads to wrong advice in almost all the cases which can at times be fatal.
I believe that every query that a patient or his near ones have is an important one and there are no silly questions. The questions which are left unanswered sometimes make the difference between life and death.
At Preventive Cardiology we promise to answer all your questions, no matter how many they are or how much time it takes. We won’t be satisfied till you are satisfied. And work together for the betterment of your health or that of your near and dear ones.
We really believe in the ideology of Dil ka Khayal...Dil se. There is no other way!
